Berg-Wiese is a premium boutique hotel and apartment destination designed for guests seeking comfort and relaxation. To cater to a diverse European clientele, the business required a modern, highly polished digital presence that effectively showcases their unique rooms, amenities, and seasonal offerings directly to international travelers.
The primary challenge was expanding the hotel’s digital reach through targeted online marketing and a robust multilingual framework. The platform needed to look flawless and read naturally across multiple languages simultaneously. Additionally, the existing setup lacked an optimized user experience (UX), making it difficult to convert international visitors into direct website bookings or seamlessly guide them to partner channels like Booking.com.
To transform the hotel’s digital presence, I executed a complete technical and visual overhaul utilizing WPML to engineer a seamless, 4-language architecture and integrating the Easy Booking engine to streamline the international guest reservation workflow. The development involved leveraging WordPress Custom Post Types to build a flexible, dynamic back-end structure for localized room and pricing data, while conducting meticulous cross-browser layout testing to guarantee a high-performing, fluid user experience across all language variations.
Engineered a seamless 4-language setup (German, English, Dutch, and Danish) using WPML to handle dynamic, localized content switching effortlessly.
Implemented and customized the Easy Booking online system, creating a frictionless, intuitive reservation workflow for guests.
Completely overhauled the user interface, optimizing mobile layouts, font readability, and clear calls-to-action (CTAs) across all language variations.
